in Windows 8 Source Preview Handler does not highlight syntax

Dear Community,

After installation of smartftp along with source preview handler there is no syntax highlighting. The addon is downloaded from here:
https://www.smartftp.com/client/addons/sourcepreview
At the same time syntax highlighting works in smartftp editor.

OS: Windows 8 x64.

Is it something idiosyncratic, or this is a general issue?

Syntax highlighing preview works in Windows 7 (x64).

And additional question: is there a way to add a support for additional languages? In particular, it would be nice to have syntax highlighting for Stata *.do and *.ado files.

You can probably adapt an existing lexer (/lexers folder) to support Stat.
