right click in favorites causes program to terminate

Whenever I "right click" in the favorites window section of smartftp (v3) the application closes with a generic "smartftp client has stopped working" message window. Also, strangely, in the "Favorites" menu itself, the "New" options are not available?

Any suggestions / thoughts?

Windows, Vista, licensed version.
