SmartFTP Crashing on Right Click of Local File

Hi,

I just updated to Build 1213 and any time I Right Click on a file in the Local Browser pane, Smart FTP crashes.

And a separate issue... I also noticed that when I click the triangle next to a directory in the Remote Browser pane, the directory does not expand like it did before.

Both issues also occur in Build 1212 (installed on laptop).

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Expand. Bug confirmed.

We can debug this directly on your computer. If you are interested please contact us per email at support at smartftp.com
Thank you.

mb,

Yep, "Auto Expand Folders in Folder View" is enabled.

I noticed that the initial view expands properly. For Example: The Path for my Favorite is set as /public_html & when I open that Favorite, the /public_html folder is selected an the tree is properly expanded. However, if I click the triangle next to any folder within public_html the tree does not expand. And if I move up a directory from public_html & click the triangle for any other folder, it will also not expand. But I can expand & collapse the public_html folder without issue. I changed the default path & it behaves the same, the initial directory is expanded properly, but the other directories won't expand.

I will be happy to email support for remote connection in a few hours when I'm off work.

The problem with expand has been fixed. The next build (1 day) will correct the problem.

The new build is now available. It should fix both problems reported here:
https://www.smartftp.com/download/

I can now right-click on a file in the local browser.

Confirmed as well. Right Click of Local File is working again as is the Expand of the directory tree.

I have never had a problem with SmartFTP before and I'm definitely not worried should something else happen in the future. What an amazing turn around time on these bug fixes. You guys rock!

Thanks!!!
