User folder underneath Desktop folder

How to hide user folder underneath Desktop folder? It's quite annoying because the same user folder does exists INSIDE Desktop folder. So these completely identical user folders are redundant and absolutely unnecessary.

I check in Windows Explorer and FileZilla, there is no such redundancy. Only in SmartFTP.

Post a screenshot from Windows Explorer and from SmartFTP. Also include the system information from the menu: Help->About "System Information" dialog.
