Files "stuck" on downloading

I am trying to download my website to my PC. All the files except 3 have downloaded normally. Three image files appear to be "stuck" and SmartFTP keeps re-trying (the log at the bottom will say, for example, "Retry at 15:38:04". Also, a kind of error message says "Some pictures have been blocked to help prevent the sender from identifying your computer. Open this item to view the pictures." Nowhere can I find a way to "...open this item...".

Can someone clarify this message and tell me how to deal with the problem ?

I'll follow your suggestion, of course, but I'm curious to know why SmartFTP shows the file to be on the server when I first make the connection to the server and then, when it tries to download it, says it isn't there. I hadn't been manipulating the files on the server by any other means in the meantime.

Aaah, so that would be a server error, right ? The server is listing a file which isn't there. Not very confidence-building, I must say, but that's beyond the scope of this enquiry.

Do you have the problem with all files? Because it might be a code page problem (your file contains è).

I guess your server does not support UTF8. You can try to switch to the ANSI code page. Go to the favorites properties. Then go to the FTP->Transfer dialog and set the default codepage to ANSI.

I couldn't follow the "Go to the favorites properties. Then go to the FTP->Transfer dialog and set the default codepage to ANSI". Where are the favorites properties and the FTP->Transfer dialog ? Are these in SmartFTP or are they part of the file or what ? I've moused around and couldn't find them.

1. Connect to the server / favorite
2. Go to the main menu: Favorites->Favorite Properties
3. Then go to the FTP->Transfer dialog.
