How To Monitor a Remote Folder

Hello,

Is it possible to monitor a remote FTP folder?

When someone drops new files into the remote FTP folder I'd like to have a monitor in place to transfer them over to a local folder.

If this isn't possible is their a strategy that people use to overcome this limitation?

You can setup a recurring task which will download the same remote folder every 5 minute for example. SmartFTP will only transfer the new/modified files.
