Hello,
I run SmartFTP on a USB portable drive. I've upgraded my computer to Windows 7 64-bit. I want to update my version of SmartFTP, but I want to keep the 32-bit version installed on my USB drive, since I use it on other computers with XP 32-bit installed.
When I try to run the SmartFTP installation program, however, I receive an error message saying that I need to run the 64-bit version of the program.
If I run the 64-bit version of the SmartFTP installation program and then copy the installed files to my USB drive (the standard procedure), will I then be able to run SmartFTP from the USB drive on 32-bit machines?
Thanks for your assistance.
Cheers,
Steven
