can't display remote folder tree

Since my PC crashed when I run SmartFTP (v 4.0.1069). I can't view the folder tree for the remote server, only the files listing. This is true of any of my servers that I manage. Pressing Shift F2 for panes works on the local window but not the remote.

This is true even if I connect to a new server that isn't in the history or favourites.

I did a reinstall which didn't help.

Any ideas?

I have a similar problem. The remote file tree will not display for me either. At first it would appear when I updated to the latest version, but with no new updates, I can get nothing. I have re-installed, cleared the registry, reset the settings under favorites as suggested in the other places on this site, but still no joy. Any ideas?
