How can I improve deleting folders - files on remote server

Hi.

Sometimes I want to delete whole filestructure for a Joomla installation on a remote server.

I connect via SmartFTP and select all files and folders and hit delete.

All files are approx 13.8 MB

Takes approx 30 minutes before all folders and files are deleted.

Is there something I can do to make the delete process go faster?

Menu: Tools->Settings

Then go to the Navigation dialog. Set the Delete Operation to Queue.

Then the deletes are handled in the transfer queue. Increase the number of workers in the queue.
