Upload takes forever!

Hi

i'm new here so please be patient with my question.

I'm having problems uploading 50mb [its taking a very very long time] approx 3 hours.

Is this normal? is there any other way to speed up my uploads?

I have turned on the *Mode Z Compression* as per the instructions in the *Knowldge Base > slow file transfers*

But its still very slow. I've turned off my antivirus software and email client.

Is there any other way to speed it up a bit?

The way i'm doing this transfer is by schedule as per the video tutorial... but the uplaods are always the same even without the schedule.
