Transfer settings to new profile on same computer but don't see data

I created a new profile on the same computer where SMARTFTP 3.0 was already installed. I copied all the files from the Client 2.0 folder to the same in the new profile but I don't see any of my favorites or quick connects. The quick connect folder is fully populated.
Is there something else that needs to be done?

1. Install the latest version of SmartFTP on both computers:
https://www.smartftp.com/download

2. Then use the Backup Tool (Start menu: All Programs->SmartFTP Client->Tools) to backup the settings.

3. Copy the backup file to the new computer and use the Backup Tool to restore it.

Thanks. If I change the default location of the favorites do I need to manually move the files or will the program move them for me?

I would recommend you use the default settings/location and then change the favorites location. You have to move your files manually to the new location.
