manual termination required on shutdown

since I installed the latest version (3.0.1024.32) smartftp needs to be manually terminated on shutdown of the PC. I use Windows XP sp3.

This is not a major problem for me, but I thought you might want it reported. I installed the latest version but it has not helped. When I shut down windows a dialog box appears asking if I want to shut down smartftp. Sometimes the box pops up a few times and I must respond yes each time. THis only happens if I have used smartftp during the current windows session.

Post the system information from the menu: Help->About "System Information" dialog.

Try to delete the following registry key using regedit.exe:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SmartFTP

To do this:
1. Go to the Start button
2. Select Run...
3. Enter regedit.exe
4. Then delete the key/folder as described above.
