550 could not get file size

I am able to daily upload a small .txt file with no problem (100kb to 200kb). But when I try to upload a .pdf file of 523kb, I get the "could not get file size' error. My permission is set at 777 for this folder. My system info is:

It's a problem on the server side:

For example there is no more space left on the disk. Please contact your web hosting provider for assistance.

I'm having same problem trying to upload as well. For me it says:

[20:15:29] SIZE student session.camproj
[20:15:29] 550 Could not get file size.
[20:15:59] SIZE student session.camproj
[20:15:59] 550 Could not get file size.
[20:16:29] SIZE student session.camproj
[20:16:29] 550 Could not get file size.

And I've read the tutorial and tried many times with different file sizes. Please help!
