Trouble Uploading New File

Hi, I' looking or some help with this issue - I must warn you that I'm very inexperienced with this:

I've edited a .php page file for my website and edited the meta title for that page, which was done successfully in Notepad++.

However, when trying to upload the file back to the site I'm unable to do it. The annoying thing is that the original file that is still on the server is now blank so is just showing a blank page on the site.

So, my first question is: why has the original file disappeared? Is this normally what happens when you edit a file?

Also, what is happening that is stopping me from loading it back up?

Hello ..

Please post the log from the file in the transfer queue. To get it double click the file in the transfer queue and the log window opens. Then copy&paste the log.
