No but you can add SmartFTP to the Windows Scheduler (Scheduled Tasks) and you have the same behavior.

So, do I just set up a scheduled task to run the .exe at a specified time for a scheduled upload? How will the software close when the upload is complete?

Hello ...
Yes that's the way to do it. To automatically close SmartFTP when the transfer completes you have to set the "On Queue Complete" action to "Close Application. To change the setting go to the Queue settings dialog in the menu: Tools->Settings.
