SmartFTP v3.0 will not launch - Error: Server Busy

I just installed version 3.0 on top of 2.x and it uninstalled 2.x.

I started 3.0 and as with every time I upgrade, I have to re-setup all my windows and favs.

After I had it setup, I tried to go to the Desktop on my local computer. There is now Desktop option in the dropdown. Anyway, when I clicked off the dropdown (selected nothing). The app appeared to lock up.

I closed the program with the "x" top-right.

I tried to start the app back up and get:

"Server Busy This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy program and correct the problem."

When I click "Switch To" all that happens is my start button opens. The errors stays displayed.

When I click "Retry" nothing happens and the error stays displayed.

The "Cancel" button is disabled.

When I click the "x" on the error message I hear a ping, and the error stays displays.

I rebooted the machine, and after my laptop came back up I tried launching SmartFTP v3.0 and the same error came up and nothing else. - Same button results.

I'll try rebooting again and hope maybe the scond time is the charm.

HELP HELP! This is the only FTP program I own!

What operating system are you using?

Try to delete the following registry key using regedit.exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SmartFTP

I'll give regedit a try.

Welp, duno what happened, but this morning when I tried it, it's working.
