transfer works, queue does not

Dear forum readers,

I've been using a licensed version of SmartFTP since May last year. Uploaded quite a bit. Living in China with my website in The Netherlands it sometimes takes some patience to get it done, but hey, that's why there is the Queue option in SmartFTP.
Recently however possibly linked with the earthquake near Taiwan, which all but killed the internet traffic in the region but that is being restored step by step now, I do not see any file uploading using Queue. The strange thing is they do upload using Transfer.
Is there an explanation for it? I could of course continue Transfer, but then I have to stay put to accept the overwrites of earlier files, which is not what I like to do.

By the way, I use v2.1002 since a couple of days, but only because the 2.0999 had the above problem.

The Transfer Queue tries to automatically (with the help of the File Exist Rules) decide whether a file is going to be overwritten or resumed.

Ive first tried to upload it to my website by means of the queue, which uploaded a 0 byte sized file with follwoing logfile:

Hi MB,

It seems to help to take a holiday. I just was three weeks in West Australia and returned yesterday.
Wanting to upload some new pictures ( yes, made in WA), I used Smart FTP.
I did not (yet) change any settings, the Queue did a retry for the first file, after taht all pictures went straight up via Queue.
Then I looked at your latest answer, changed the setting to "Port", just for trying out. It uploaded just as well via the Queue.

Not sure what the problem was, but it seems to have been cured (by taking holiday?)
