New ver 2 will not connect ?

Having purchased the ver 1.0 software which worked fine, I downloaded the upgrade ver 2.0.997 and installed this. All my previous settings were still there but when I tried to connect to any of them, they all came up with the error https://www.smartftp.com/support/kb/81

I have unistalled and re installed etc. Unfortunately I also uninstalled the old version and do not have a copy. Now I am left with no usable ftp.

Can anyone help ?
