Running Python

Hi,

how do you run python using SmartFTP Client 2.0. I see how to get the command line to show on the interface but when I type in python sitemap_gen.py --config=config.xml --testing , and press return on the keyboard, it appears nothing happens. How do you view the test results if you are able to run python.

I had problems connecting using this version but thanks to Mat it is now working and i don't know the package very well at the moment.

You cannot run shell commands from the SmartFTP Command line, that's only for executing FTP commands.

No, it's not possible with SmartFTP. For that you need an SSH client, e.g. PuTTY (and an SSH server running the host).
