Slowing down

Since upgrading to SmartFTP 2.0 Build 996 I have noticed that any file uploads have the effect of drastically slowing down the PC to the point where it is effectively unuseable until the transfer is completed. This hasn't happened with any of the previous installs (and it's been installed for 2 years or so) and I am at a looss to see why it is happening.

Please install the latest version from
https://www.smartftp.com/download

then post the system information which can be found in the menu: Help->About "System Information" dialog.

Are you using the "Transfer Queue" or the direct way to upload your files? If you are using the direct way, please try the "Transfer Queue". You can find howtos for the "Transfer Queue" at:
