A friend told me that SmartFtp could do Server/Server copy, So after installing it and going through all the FAQ and instructions I find my Firewall is causing the Problem with fpx transfers.
One server (Development) is on my Lan behind the firewall so FTP speed to that server is no problem.
The Second server is at the ISP.
Coulds Smart FTP have an option that brought the files via Normal get, rather fxp to my local machine, ideally a configuarble backup/staging folder and once each file is complete do a normal put command the second server.
I know I can do it manually but it is a pain.
Dreamweaver has this sort of functionality, as you declare Local, test and live server in your project and it just knows how to move things from local to test and then test to Live as you complete each section of a web site.
If SmartFtp can do this automatically already then I have missed something. Please point me in the direction of the help file.
