I use SmartFTP 2 ways:
1- manualy, up and download stuff as I need to
2- I create several (50+) html files and xml files using a program and they have to be distributed over several servers, for that I use the global queue server
putting the .que file to readonly stops it from being deleted (1 problem solved)
When I put on the option to start queues on startup it starts to upload them even when I want to do a manual upload.
A simple but effective option would be something like this:
smartftp.exe -startqueues
which would -for that session- turn on the automaticly start queues option
