Greetings
Here are a few ideas for features in the next version of SmartFTP.
-- Have the program add a "Quick Upload Using SmartFTP" option to Windows Explorer's right-click context menu. You can right-click on a file, or many files, select this option, and a window will pop up with all of your saved ftp sites and their properties, including the remote directory to upload to. After a site is selected, the user can press the "upload" button and this window will be replaced with a progress dialog window, which will have the status at the top and ftp commands scrolling by in a small part of the window at the bottom. There's an old file management program called Drag & File that allows this, but it's ftp capabilities are very basic, and it obviously only allows quick uploading from within itself, not in Windows Explorer.
-- Keep Alive should allow for random intervals between (for example) 30-45 sec.
-- Have local browser & remote windows, etc. load maximized (and/or remember window position)
-- Set default views (small icon, large icon, list, details) for local and remote (and/or remember last used views).
-- Have queue start automatically when files are added to it.
-- Leech mode (for sites that have ratios, limits, etc.).
