When one has both the directory and file listings viewable for both the local browser and the remote views, real estate gets a bit tight and anything I can eliminate is good. The one thing I do NOT need to see is the "Type" info on the local browser. I can reposition the bars to hide it, but it keeps coming back whenever anything is changed.
You have the ability to select details on the remote window, but not the local window. Is this easily possible....or is this a windows explorer thing?
I changed my Windows explorer settings to eliminate this column (under Choose Colmns) but that did not work.
