I saw this feature in a code editor for Ubuntu, I'm not sure what its official name is.
It's not unlike the page panel you see when reading a PDF file.
Description:
Basically a mini map of the text/code, placed by the scroll bar area and it acts just like a scroll bar for mouse interaction.
The benefit of scrolling my code visually... gives me butterflies.
In terms of complexity it seems fairly simple, it is just a scaled down minimap image with scrolling events.
Any chance that can be a feature in 6.0?
