Hello -

When starting SmartFTP I find that it requires that the folder in the home browser used last time must still exist.
Could this requirement be removed, please?

Also, the license reminder gives the choice to download the current version. It then starts Internet
Explorer. Not everyone uses IE - could a choice be given which Web browser to use? My installation of
IE doesn't work so I use Firefox instead.

I'm fairly certain that the launching of IE isn't SmartFTP but rather Windows. You can set whatever browser you prefer to handle URL/links/web pages from the system's Internet Options page.

Yes that's correct. SmartFTP calls ShellExecute with the "open" verb. This will open the URL in your default browser.
