Disable 'New' GUI?

I just updated from 1.5.something to the latest edition and I can't stand the new looks. I'd _really_ appreciate some way to disable it all and go back to nice plain windows (without the drag-as-a-box, wrong colors used all over the place, etc).
Is there any chance such a feature will be added in the next release or two (sometime soon, hopefully)?

If you mean the "Paint Manager", no that only selects between various skins, they don't magically disable the drag-as-a-box, wrong coloring, etc.
While there is one called "Native Windows XP", as I put in the subtitle, that doesn't disable any of the extra junk that makes the interface horrid.
