Crash on huge files with size in bytes

I've been downloading a 1 GB file, placed in the global queue.
If I go to Tools->Settings->Interface and set Size Display Format to Bytes,
clicking OK will crash SmartFTP. Both versions 996 and 997.4 have this problem.
