Delete folders and contents

When I try to delete a folder, I get a 550 error stating that the folder is not empty. I already know this. However, is there a way to delete a folder and the FTP program delete that folder, all of its subfolders and files? Basically delete the folder and ALL of it's contents.

I have seen this done in other FTP programs. It's quite tedious to have to go in and delete all the files and all the subfolders just to delete one folder. It's even more of a hassle when you are deleting the contents of folders which may have 5+ subfolders each with files in each one of those.

SmartFTP of course already supports this. It seems the FTP server you're connecting to is configured not to allow deletion of non-empty folders. For such inquiries it is always useful to post the log here.
