finally told Smart FTP to upgrade to v1.5 and it came up and said it had to change the history file. I thought it was going to keep my settings when I upgraded.
But when it started up, it had only "yourserver.com". I finally found a copy of the history file several layers down in some hidden folder, named history plus some license plate number. Okay... I copied this file, deleted the "history" file of 120 bytes and renamed the copy as "history" (1.85 KB). I restarted Smart FTP and..."yourserver.com" pops up. Again. The history file is back at 125 bytes. And of course, both files are not text but some gibberish compressed format.
This is 'way fun, guys. What's the trick to make the list fly again, or do I have to type *all* those sites in again??
