Connecting?!?

hi, i am trying to connect my Xbox (gaming system) to my computer directly trought a network cable (internet cable), i cant figure out how to do this, can any one help me?

By the way i am asking how to do it with SmartFTP, i already have the program but dont know how to connect to my Xbox

First, Make sure you are using a cross over ethernet cable.
switch on xbox without game in, should show ip address on right hand side, enter that ip address into SmartFTP.
Add User Name and Password (xbox)
ip address goes into host
click on ok


That should be it
