Does SmartFTP replaces original system DLL or files(msi) when installs?
How many registry entries it write into registry?

SmartFTP doesn't replace any system dlls. All dlls it installs can be found in the application folder.

There are 24.52 registry entries updated. You can use Regmon from sysinternals
http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/regmon.shtml
to get the exact value.
