FTP IP Address???

Long time user, first time poster (almost Grosse Point Blank)......
Anyway, I'm trying to set up an internet radio thing and want to host it myself rather than pay extra for the stream from some other company...
but i need to know the IP address of my server (obviously FTP) and port number so i can upload the html etc.
Can anyone help...
or am i going about this all wrong?
