JPG files corrupted during upload

When I uploaded a JPG file to my site, it didn't appear on the browser page. So I downloaded the same JPG back to my computer, and it won't open in PhotoShop (or any other viewer). Various error msgs (bogus string, etc). Same pic opened fine BEFORE the transfer.

So it appears that the transfer is causing the problem. Anyone have any idea why? Haven't changed any setting. Straight Ascii transfer.

I took a jpg on my website that is displaying correctly. I transferred it to my computer two ways: as a "save as" and by ftp. The "save as" version opened fine on my machine. The ftp version was corrupted.

This one has me stumped.

Check that you get/upload the jpg files on binary mode, btw, be sure that you are using the last development build.

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried both Ascii and binary transfers, and both corrupt the files. I also tried a different ftp program (AceFTP), and that didn't work either.

I'm stumped.
