I have a new website and I am trying to upload some pages. The upload works OK, but when I try to view or execute the index.html (or any other file) I get a message that a file already exists (the timestamp is several hours earlier!?) and no matter what I choose (overwrite/skip) nothing happens - the message keeps coming up every time.
Also, I can't get jpegs to display, only gifs. I even tried to upload just the index.html and a single jpeg. The result was that all the gifs and all the text appeared even though I had deleted everything. I'm sure I am doing the right thing ie calling my main page index.html and loading everything (including all the other files) to the public html directory
Please help - I feel really dumb for not knowing what is wrong!
It could be because I am using Publisher 2002... which isn't very friendly anyway.
