help with search engine 405 Method Not Allowed

I am trying to implement a site search engine on the site at the office where i work, but everytime i try to search, it says

Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /search.asp.

I have tried to change the permissions, but it still doesn't work. Can someone give me a hand with getting this working?
