I can't tell if it's SmartFTP or my ISP, but I'm leaning towards SmartFTP - All my other download programs work fine and I can usually get decent speeds (For a dialup connection).
I can connect to a server readily enough, but whenever I try to download something, the speed hits .25 kbps, then rises to .75, then falls to 0 and stays there until I get a server timeout. Keep in mind, it's done this to me on three seperate servers and always the same rates in the same order. My connection speed is fine and downloading the files directly gives me decent speeds (Again, decent for dialup.)
I suppose it could have to do with resuming. It's a big file (672 MB) and it's been resumed a LOT because of my flaky ISP.
It's annoying because I've spent a week and a half on this file, I finally get it to within an hour of being completed, and now this.
