Is it possible to always hide the bottom view

I can hide the bottom view using the the view menu but it re-apears when I connect or reconnect. Can I always hide this on connect?

This is sort of a continuation of my previous post. I want to open a particular site from a shortcut and hide the bottom view.

Can commands be automatically issued when Smartftp is opened.

Did you add the remote site to the favorites? If this is the case SmartFTP does very likely not save the view status of the panes (bottom view, treeview, etc).
