trying to connect!!

This question has been posted before but with no answer, so here goes nothing:
When I type everything in and I try to connect, it says:

Continue to login attempt 9...
Connecting to (users.telenet.be) -> IP:
Connected to (users.telenet.be) -> Time = 19ms
Socket connected waiting for login sequence.
220 Telenet-ops FTP Server
USER
331 Password required for PASS (hidden)
530 Login incorrect.
Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...

so anybody? please?

well, as the error message says, either your password or login name must be wrong. BTW: you should not post host name / IP address and login name in a public forum like this. edit your post and replace both by dummy values.

But I am very shure that it is the right password and the right login name,
I truly don't know what the problem is.

Hi there, exactly the same happens to me too and I used to be able to log into my webspace fine! I can access the member area online and change password etc. there but it won't let me log in by FTP

The password is correct but I get the following message
