moving hosts

Hi i want to move my forum based website to a new host is there a way it can be done just loging into old host site and transfering it to new host ,
basically move site A to Site B without downloading or uploading

If you're lucky you'll be able to drag the files from old to new without going via the local machine. If you're not so lucky then it's a case of download/upload or (if one of them's a Unix box) making use of the OS command set.
