SmartFTP posts data with out consent

I noticed in web log SmartFTP POSTs almost 9000 bytes of data to 213.144.155.6 as text/plain
Can anyone elaborate on that?

For sure you are using the auto mode to get your true internet ip address. On that mode smartftp gets your ip address conecting to repeater.smartftp.com.
