Hi. I have been consistently downloading from one specific ftp site for over six months now and have had no problems until recently. When I go to open a file or link, it says "COMMAND SUCCESSFUL" and then "PWD" and then freezes- not allowing me to access any of the files from that folder. Then I get some error message saying my host machine timed out. This problem does not occur for all the folders on this site. I contacted the person running the site and he's not aware of any problems on his site. I am able to download from other ftp sites no problem so i don't think it's the SmartFTP software (though i did uninstall and reinstall just to make sure.) Why would i not be able to access certain folders on the site? Any ideas?
