Wireless Problem...

Hey there, I have an FTP issue, that I fear may be due to my wireless set-up, I just wanna run it by you guys, in the hope that someone can help me out....

Ive got broadband in Germany, so I dont need to dial in to go online.... from the braodband modem Ive got a cable going straight to a dling dwl 2000AP+

This feeds two laptops with dwl650 pcmcia cards, and one PC with a dlink dwl 520 pci card.

so far so good.... I can start up any of the laptops or the pc and Im online, which is what was intended.

But, I cant upload via FTP. Smartftp will start the transfers but after approx 10 seconds itll stop, and occassionally it wont restart. the time it takes to stop depends on the size of the file im trying to upload.... eventually I get a timeout error message, generally with a mention of a port number that is high.....

Another issue is that I cant reach the configuration page of the access point (http://xxx.xxx.x.xx), I just get a page cannot be displayed....

I haver the same issue on every ftp i try, if its one of my own, or public, or other private ftps where i have access.... the problem is similar when i try to ftp via IE.

any ideas?
