Can't see files or folders on ftp server

I can get logged into an ftp site, but do not see files or folders. I know what some of the folders are and can change into them - but still no file or folder display.

I'm using a satellite system, my setup looks like
http://starbandusers.com/360gwrouter.htm

I don't believe this is a SmartFTP problem, but thought maybe someone here has run into a simular problem and could point me in the right direction.

My guess is that my router is blocking returning info (like the directory listing). However, why this is being blocked I don't know.

Thanks.

I wanted to post a log file of what happens when I log in (but don't see a directory)

Also, since my last post, I read a suggestion of decreasing the MTU size - I changed this in my router to 1492 and 576 - no change. Thanks.

One more thing, I see in my 2nd post the lines
REST 100
and
REST 0

what do those mean? Thanks.
