Adding item to Session Queue disables control of session

Firstly the main problem.

Upon beginning a transfer using the session queue the half-pointer/half-hourglass mouse pointer appears. I can no longer navigate the server after this. I can no longer modify the session queue in any way to either add more items (which is what I need to do) or to delete the one that has begun transferring. I can therefore not even stop the session. I have to close the session entirely to stop the transfer. Nothing works: right clicking in the session queue to attempt to use the add option results in no context menu; I cannot open folders or browse the server in anyway; it simply ignores everything I do.

My question is, is this an intentional design decision related to the session queue? This is my first time downloading using it. I've always done everything through the global queue before this, which leads to another strange problem -soon to follow.

Before I posted I realized I can accomplish what I want to by adding things to the session queue and only beginning to transfer after everything is there. Again is the unresponsiveness of the window supposed to be occuring? It makes it tremendously difficult if I forget anything. Also, to close the entire session, just to stop a transfer, seems like an unnecessarily strong measure.

Problem 2: The global queue will not download from this server; it immediately indicates it is waiting to retry the download. I cannot make it reattempt. I know there should be no problem downloading from this server, obviously the session queue works (I can move an item into it, begin a transfer, and then the session window becomes unresponsive), as well the direct download option works as well. I find the global queue tremendously useful and am disconcerted that does not appear to function when everything else works correctly; I would love to be able to solve this problem.

If you make it this far down my post thank you. Doubly thank you if you can provide insight into these two odd behaviours.

Thank you for your time.

Hello ..

>session queue
Use the global queue instead of the session queue. The session queue will disappear in the next major version.

>global queue
You can see the log of the queue item by right-clicking on it and then selecting "Show Log" from the context menu. If you still don't know whats going on you can paste the log here.

I'd like to thank you for the quick response.

That is terrific, solid support.

Like I said, I always used to use the global queue for everything. I definitely didn't notice the show log option. I will see if it helps me sort things out.

Thank you again for your time.
