CHMOD Folders

I need to CHMOD a folder and find that selection is grayed out, although I can CHMOD files with no problem. I see the following note in the Knowledge Base but its meaning is not clear:

Note: You cannot recursively chmod directories at the moment, nor can you CHMOD on the directory tree, this can only be done on the "List View".

I am told CuteFTP can do CHMOD on folders.

Any suggestions?

Hello.

It's a limitation in SmartFTP. You can chmod a single folder item. But changing all permissions recursively (of all files and folders in this specific folder) is not supported at the moment.
