WinME iExplore crash

Everytime I load up SmartFTP, it trys to load up explorer but crashes my PC to the point of a reboot. If I purchase SmartFTP will this error stop? I'm currently using it for non-comercial purposes. I already tried to update and even re-install it.

Hello ..

Update to the latest developer build
https://www.smartftp.com/download

Then try again. If it still crashes update your OS.

I've done both and I still get the same error. Anymore ideas?

Hello ..

With updating your OS I meant upgrading to XP etc.

You can also try to delete (backup first!) your .dat files in
the following folder:
C:windowsprofilesApplication DataSmartFTP (or slighty different)

Or you can use the backup tool
https://www.smartftp.com/backup/
to do it for you.

Anyhoo, I had the same problem on my laptop (WinXP) and I finally found out what the problem is. My Wife decided to install cute lil screen savers on all the computers which also conflicted with SmartFTP. So sorry to bug you, this was on my end and SmartFTP runs perfect now.
