For my small buisness Xtreme Intruders Corp. I need to make an FTP so I heard so much good things about SmartFTP but my problem is the IP is 192.168.1.2 but everyone knows you cant use that for a remote download. Please give me answers on how I can access it from a remote location.

If you're trying to access 192.168.1.2 over the Internet then you're likely to be in difficulty. If it's within your own network it shouldn't be too difficult as long as there's an FTP server running there.

ok but i am at work when my FTP is working from my DSL at home. I wish to access it from work. Can you please help me out.

I think you may be best advised not to attempt this unless you're really sure on how to nail down your firewall and home PC security. Your home PC really should be behind a firewall and to ftp through that you need to create a hole in it. You're then left with the need to provide an FTP server on your home computer and these are notoriously hard to make secure.
If your home PC is directly on the Internet, has a fixed IP address and is running an FTP server, then SmartFTP should be able to get at it. Chances are that if you have a 192.168.x.y address at work there will be some sort of proxy/firewall/NAT arrangement in place there as well. Talk to your net admin for details of how to handle that.
