I just read that the file /robots.txt should be added to web pages to make them search engine friendly. Does anyone know how to add this file?
I believe it should be added to the root directory and the article said to use Unix or FTP. I don't have unix, so does anyone know how I add this file using SmartFTP?
Do I just use a normal text editor as normal, how do I upload it? do I need to do anything to the uploaded file?
I would appreciate your help.
