PLEASE HELP! Newbie!

OK, I downloaded it and got it installed, and im trying to connect to my site to begin the FTP, but it's not letting me connect. All I get is this: "530 Login incorrect." But what i put in is the right username and password and website, so I'm at a loss of what to do. Any help would be great. Thanx!
